MEET INFORMATION

 

Rules and Regulations

 

All contestants must meet P.I.A.A. eligibility requirements.

 

Coaches and athletes must stay away from the start/finish line areas.

 

All track events will be run as a final.  Schools are allowed to enter an “A” team and an exhibition team.  All “A” teams will run in the first heat of an event, and the exhibition team will run in the second heat.  Only the “A” teams will be scored and be eligible to medal.  All running events will consist of 4 person relay except the 2 x 1600meter relay which will consist of 2 runners.

 

All throwing events and horizontal jumps will consist of 2 person relays, with places determined by adding together the best distance of each person.  Each athlete will be given 3 trials.  The pole vault and the high jump will also consist of 2 person relay, with places determined by adding together the best heights of each person. Starting heights will be: for the girls’  pole vault  7’0” and the boys’ pole vault 9’6”.; for the girls’ high jump 4’4” and the boys’ high jump 5’4”. Contestants will be eliminated following 3 misses at the same height. Schools may enter a ”B” team in the field events, however only the “A” teams will be scored.

 

Scoring/ Awards

 

There is no division between AA and AAA teams.  Medals are awarded to the first 3 finishers.  Team points will be scored 10-8-6-4-2-1.  Team trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams.

 

Coaches Meeting

 

Coaches Meeting will be held on the Infield at the Finish Area at 9:00 AM.  Coaches will be handed an Event Entry List for their Team.  All Scratches must be turned in the Meet Director at that time.

 

Online Registration

 

Registration must be completed online at Direct Athletics ( www.directathletics.com ).  Registration Deadline is Thursday, April 10th at 5:00 PM.

Meet Results

 

Race results will be posted after completion of each event.  A full set of Results will be posted by Saturday Night on www.usp-sports.com Results Page, Direct Athletics Results Page and the Exeter Athletics Webpage.

 

 

STADIUM INFORMATION

Spectators

 

All spectators are to remain in the bleacher area or outside of the track fence.  All spectators, coaches and non-competing athletes are to stay away from the start and finish areas and all immediate field areas.  The meet sponsor is not responsible for injury of spectators or participants.

 

Restrooms

 

Restrooms are located behind the grandstand.
